Goose Creek, SC (January 21, 2026) – The South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) is proud to announce the champions of the 2026 Bobby D. Junior Classic, hosted at Crowfield Golf Club on January 19. Originally scheduled as a two-round event, the tournament was shortened to 18 holes after the opening round was canceled due to heavy rain, with no makeup round played.

Canon Moriarty of Charleston and Ted Neal of Mount Pleasant triumphed in the Boys 13-19 division. Moriarty and Neal both carded one-under-par 71s, sending the tournament to a two-hole playoff. Neal clinched the playoff to secure the title.

In the Girls 13-19 division, Kylie Smith of Blythewood emerged as the standout champion. This marks Smith's second year in a row as the Bobby D. Classic Champion. She posted a final round score of nine-over-par (81). Morgan Sanders of Goose Creek and Abigail Kell of Hilton Head tied for second with a final round score of eleven-over-par (83).

The SCJGA would like to thank Crowfield Golf Club and Bobby D. for their outstanding support in hosting this incredible event. We proudly provide a platform where the next generation of golfers can shine and demonstrate their skills. Congratulations to our 2025 Bobby D. Junior Classic champions!
