
ANDERSON, SC (Oct. 12, 2025) – Final round results of the 5th Annual Jackie Seawell Junior Championship hosted by Cobb's Glen Country Club in Anderson, SC on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Bennett Scaletta of Belton fired a final round score of five-under par 67 to take the boys 16-18 division. Scaletta finished the tournament at seven-under par 137 and had six total birdies today. He also won the overall championship of the 25 Jackie Seawell Junior after making birdie on the first playoff hole over Ty Childers.
Erik Erlenkeuser of Anderson finished runner-up in the boys 16-18 division shooting five-under par 139 overall for the tournament. Sawyer Driscoll of Greenville finished 3rd place in this division, winning a scorecard playoff over James Condon (Charleston), Landry Williams (Bluffton), and Cal Harbin (Anderson).
In the boys 13-15 division, Ty Childers of Gaffney posted five-under par 67 in his final round. He finished the event at seven-under par 137 to claim his victory in this division.
Moses Zikusooka of Spartanburg was named runner-up in this division, posting an overall score of three-under par 141 and a final round score of one-under par 71. Oliver Maxon of Clemson finished in 3rd place in this division, with a score of 2 under par 142.

The Jackie Seawell Junior was created after Mr. Seawell's passing on June 14, 2021, to honor him and his contributions to golf in Anderson, Aiken, and the state of South Carolina. The SCJGA is honored to be able to help administer a tournament named after one of our state’s great golf ambassadors.
Jackie Seawell, a native of Anderson, was the first golf professional at Cobb's Glen Country Club in Anderson. During his long and successful career, he had a major and lasting impact on junior golf in Anderson and the state of South Carolina. He was dedicated to the game of golf and had a true passion for teaching and growing the game.

The purpose of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association is to continue the history and traditions of the ancient game of golf through its members and an active outreach to the youth of our state.
