At Fort Jackson Golf Club, Ryder Seppala of Taylors, SC, put together a strong performance to claim the Boys Division title. He trailed by one stroke entering the final round, in which he responded by rallying off five birdies in his first seven holes. Adding to his already impressive round, he achieved one of golf’s rarest feats by making a hole-in-one on the par-three 15th. Ryder finished the tournament with rounds of 70–68, for a two-day total of six under par (138) to win by four strokes.
JR Passmore of Mt. Pleasant, SC, finished in second place with a strong showing, carding a two-under-par 142 overall.
In the Girls 13–19 Division, Annabel Carman of Summerville, SC, took control early in the first round and proceeded to battle it out during the final round. A clutch 20-ft birdie putt on the last hole earned her the championship. She posted rounds of 74–79, finishing at nine over par (153) to take home the title.
Sierra Schulze of Anderson, SC, battled hard to finish in second place at ten-over-par 154.
