The Phillips clan gets to take the perpetual trophy back to Easley for an unprecedented third time as Trent Phillips followed in his brother’s footsteps by taking the overall title in the boys division of the Pee Wee Championship. A one over par 73 total left the middle golfing sibling a three shot margin victory over Harry Reynolds and Hudson Davis.

Emily Cox backed up her SCJGA one day victory at Lancaster Country Club with a one shot margin of victory in the girls 10-12 bracket. Her two day total of 80 gave her the victory over West Columbia’s Jensen Castle.

The 8-9 brackets played a shorter golf course on both days and Manning Sloop of Rock Hill edged out Zach Phillips of Easley by 2 shots after 18 holes of stroke play. Jalen Castle also continued the tradition of following in her sisters footsteps as she also won the girls 8-9 bracket with two day total of 79 . Her older sister Jensen, won the 2010 and 11 younger championships. She called a penalty non herself after she realized she moved a stick in a water hazard, but two birdies righted the ship.
