The team from Greenhope High School captured the 11^th Annual Jimmy Self High School Invitational with a two day total of 592, 10 shots clear of runner up AC Flora. The team from Cary, NC beat their first round by 14 shots to win the title in a convincing manner. The blustery conditions were gone for the second round and scoring became easier for the invited teams.  As part of a joint effort, the tournament is hosted by Hilton Head High School, sponsored by Greenwood Development, and conducted by the SC Junior Golf Association. The schools fielded five player teams and count the four best scores for each round.

Hilton Head High School posted a two day total of 610, 4^th place  in the quality field. The individual race was won by the closest of margins as AC Flora's Brewer Bradshaw took the overall honors with a 36 hole total of 142, one shot clear of Greenhope's Rob Barrow. Ryan Standen and Chris Lane were the low island natives, both bettering 150 for the two days, boosting Hilton Head into the top five.
