How does my child become a member of the SCJGA?
There two ways to join the SCJGA, both are found through the website. You may choose to print an application, fill it out and mail it to our office, or you may register online through a link provided under membership on our website. If you have never registered online before, you must first create a player profile for the individual wishing to join.What benefits does my child get from joining the SCJGA?
With a membership to the SCJGA, your child is eligible to compete in SCJGA tournaments, access to 154 courses and driving ranges throughout in SC, and a lifetime of memories.What tournaments are my child eligible for?
The guidelines for each tournament are listed on the application to each specific tournament. Each application lists ages, eligibility and entry deadline for all events.How do I enter my child for an event?

We post our “accepted applications” on our website usually 1-2 days after the entry deadline. We also post received applications daily as we receive them for each tournament, it is always a good idea to look and make sure your application has been received.What are the age groups for SCJGA tournaments?

We offer a variety of junior golf programs for all ranges of beginning golfers:- The Little Legends Series is a youth development program of the SCJGA. The series is designed as an introductory golf program for boys and girls ages 6-12. The Little Legends program offers something for everyone.
- True beginners can participate in our Clinic Series which is a six week program designed to teach brand new players etiquette, rules, and basic fundamentals of the game.
- The Players Series is designed for those who have completed the Clinic Series and/or those who want to play the game but are not ready to play with the pressure of finishing every hole on their own. The Players Series is a fun, recreational, six week program where players participate in groups while adhering to a captain's choice format.
- The Little Legends Series has also added a Tournament Series for 2009. The Tournament Series is for those players who are ready to go out and compete on their own before joining the SCJGA, Hootie and The Blowfish Junior Golf Series or Major Tournament Series. The Tournament Series will offer one day, nine hole, stroke play events spread out over the state with limited field sizes based on availability.
