Hootie & The Blowfish have provided a grant to the SCJGA, specific to the Chapter Program. This grant will be dispersed evenly among nineteen chapters and used to hire an intern within each chapter to help in tournament operations. Without the efforts of Hootie & The Blowfish, our Chapter Directors and their volunteer's, the "Junior Golf Series" would not exist. We do appreciate all of their efforts in making this program possible. Contact your local chapter director (listed here) about signing up for the chapter in your area.

Based on the past support from the Band and the Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am, we have renamed the Summer Chapter Program, more appropriately, the Hootie and the Blowfish Junior Golf Series.

"Junior Golf Series" events are conducted beginning the first week in June. Tournaments are played mostly on Mondays at different area golf courses. Members compete in age groups and accumulate All-Star points. The All-Star Championship is held at the end the season and brings together youth from across the state. Although all skill levels are welcome, the Junior Golf Series is designed to help young players mature and develop tournament experience.

Chapter Details The SCJGA was built on a foundation of networking community junior golf programs referred to as "Chapters." Chapters give juniors an opportunity to be a part of a fun, weekly tournament schedule designed to develop tournament skills, teach a working knowledge of the Rules of Golf, and build lasting friendships.Greenville Director Nancy Daniel and Louise Oxner at the 2007 Thomas D Todd All Stars Tournament
