Little Legends Golf
The Little Legends Series is a youth development program of the SCJGA. The series is designed as an introductory golf program for boys and girls ages 6-12. The Little Legends program offers something for everyone.
True beginners can participate in our Clinic Series* which is a six week program designed to teach brand new players etiquette, rules, and basic fundamentals of the game.
The Players Series is designed for those who have completed the Clinic Series and/or those who want to play the game but are not ready to play with the pressure of finishing every hole on their own. The Players Series is a fun, recreational, six week program where players participate in groups while adhering to a captain's choice format.The Little Legends Series has also added a Tournament Series for 2008. The Tournament Series is for those players who are ready to go out and compete on their own before joining the SCJGA, Hootie and The Blowfish Junior Golf Series or Major Tournament Series. The Tournament Series will offer one day, nine hole, stroke play events spread out over the state with limited field sizes based on availability.
*This program will only be available in limited areas in 2008 with plans to expand in 2009!
