The following teams have been accepted in the 2008 playing of the Tradition Four Ball. The good news is that all of the Boys 10-12 and Girls 11-13 applications were accepted. The bad news is that the remaining field of 18 hole play had only about half of the applications accepted. We stated we were going to take 40 teams total and we ended up at 44 18 hole teams. We spent numerous hours going over the applications, handicaps, last year's results, team history forms, and even combined team rankings to help us select the field. There were many great players and teams left out because of several factors: Both players were evaluated on their past performance, teams were not accepted based on the strength of one player. Also, teams that did not send in a history form as stated on the application, were very hard to evaluate based on just handicap. Just please keep in the mind the teams were accepted based on their cumulative performance.
