2007 Par Three Challenge

The Par Three Challenge is back again for 2007. Two courses in the Columbia area will be used for this fun day of golf. Lake Murray Golf Center and The Golf Center will host the teams on Saturday, May 19.  For more information ,contact us at 803-732-9311.

Cody Proveaux and Blake Kennedy were ready to take their fourth unprecedented Par 3 Challenge title and their solid four under par effort was a great start in that effort. Westin Bell and Zachary Capps caught fire to birdie eight of their 18 holes to win their 8-18 bracket at the Golf Center and put an end to the impressive  Proveaux - Kennedy run.

After a four hole play-off, William Dorriety and Luke Coates captured the 8 and up division while Austin Langdale and Carson Young finished Lake Murray Golf Center at 6 under par to take the 8-12 bracket. The teams were hosted by The Golf Center in Columbia and Lake Murray Golf Center in Chapin. The format was two person captain's choice over 18 holes of par three play.
