The Invitational will be held at The Westin Savannah’s Club at
Savannah Harbor. The 18 hole Troon Managed Bob Cupp and Sam Snead
designed course is home to the PGA Champions Tour Liberty Mutual
Legends of Golf Tournament and the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf
Tournament.

This 36-hole format event will bring together two-man teams from
across the USA and Canada. This will give the competition the unique
opportunity to recognize the “International Junior 4 Ball Champions.”
The timing of this summer event offers an end of year incentive. Also,
the Invitational is at a time when the junior golfers are at their
peak levels due to heavy Summer tournament schedules.
We look forward to your support and participation during this exciting
first-year Tournament.
The Heritage Classic Foundation
The Heritage Classic Foundation’s mission of improving the lives of
others continues because it has and will continue to focus on its
primary mission: to generate funds for local, regional and state
charities and award grants to our scholars.
Charities and other nonprofit organizations across South Carolina and
the Coastal Low Country are the true champions of the MCI Heritage.
Since 1987, the tournament has enabled the Foundation to contribute
more than $11.25 million to such noteworthy organizations as Friday’s
Child, The Greenbriar Children’s Center, the Child Abuse Prevention
Center, the Children’s Hospital, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and many
more.
Now, The Heritage Classic Foundation is proud to support another
worthwhile event, The International Junior 4 Ball Invitational, which
will also benefit children’s charities through the Savannah Harbor
Foundation.

About the SCJGA
The South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) will graciously
volunteer their time and effort to officiate the Invitational and
ensure the success of this event. Established in 1990 by community
leaders with a commitment to passing on golf's heritage to the youth
of South Carolina, the SCJGA is an organization committed to meeting
the needs of all young people in the state and providing opportunities
to boys and girls. Golf can and does shape the lives of kids
throughout South Carolina. It promotes healthy competition, fosters a
drive to succeed, and teaches many lessons of life.
Through the contributions of golfers, courses and businesses across
the state, the SCJGA provides opportunity, builds character, and
shapes lives.
The tournament set-up and officiating will be regulated by United
States Golf Association’s Rules of Golf to uphold traditions, policies
and high values in regard to this great game. This will be ensured by
the SCJGA.
