Laura Parris and Taylor Barrett, in the spirit of Annika, showed the boys how to play in the Par Three Challenge. Their nine under par effort was enough to take the top honors in the SCJGA event held at Lake Murray Golf Center.

The event was comprised of three brackets competing 18 hole of par three golf in a captains choice format. Teams consisted of juniors age 8 to 12, 8 to 18, and those playing with adults. A great time was had by all in this summer starting event.

Dewey Oxner and Crawford Reeves took the medalist honors in the younger bracket as Cody Proveaux and his father Carey captured the 8 and up division. The event is designed to bring all levels of players together in a fun filled, team tournament. Baxter Stores proudly sponsored the event in an effort to bring the game to more families.
