Caddie Classic Results

George Bryan IV captured the 10th Annual SCJGA Caddie Classic after he posted a round of five under par 67 to successfully defend his title. The girls title was claimed by SCJGA Player of the Year Laura Crawford after she fired a four over par 75 . The event is proudly hosted by Coopers Creek Golf Club and is sponsored by the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association.

The field of 134 juniors were playing for 40 coveted caddie spots in the Hootie and The Blowfish Monday After The Masters Pro Am. This years Pro-Am made the move to Myrtle Beach and will be contested over the Dye Course of Barefoot Resort. The boys played the course from 6560 yards with a par of 72, while the girls played the par 71 layout from 5775 yards. Bryan had five birdies on the front and even par 36 on the back nine in his stellar round. The Columbia native won last year's rain shortened event as a fourteen year old. " I hit the ball just as solid on the back, but the putts just didn't fall," said Bryan regarding his round. The 13-14 Boys division was taken by Justin Thompson of Clarks Hill as he completed the course in just 71 strokes. The Girls 13-14 bracket had Elizabeth Freeman on top after a round of 85.
