PAR 3 CHALLENGE

Lake Murray Golf Center ~ May 25, 2002

 

The Lake City team of Paul Woodbury and David Moon captured the South Carolina Junior Golf Association's Par 3 Challenge, hosted by Lake Murray Golf Center. The top team fired a 6 under par 48 in the captains choice event, with 6 birdies and no bogies.
 
In the 8-12 year old division, Adam Harrison of Woodruff and Drew Sloan of Gramling won in a playoff over Walt Todd and Matt Martin. Both teams tied with 18 hole team total 54. In the 8 and up division, Kyle Blakely and Jeff Pfeiffer of Taylors claimed top honors, firing 25,25 for a 18 hole team total 50.
