Final Results ~ August 25-26, 2001
Adam Lambright backed up his opening 73 with a second round 76 to take the Boys 15-18 title in the SCJGA All-Stars tournament. The Pickens-Oconee Chapter member won by four strokes over John Moore of Anderson and Bennettsville's Colby Hyduke. As Champion, Lambright will also receive an invitation to The Bobby Chapman Invitational held at Spartanburg Country Club.

The All-Stars Tournament is the culmination of the SCJGA's Summer Chapter Program. Nineteen chapters across the state provide over 2,200 juniors access to tournament play. Each chapter is represented by the two best players from each age bracket to compete for individual and team competitions. The Pickens-Oconee and Greenville Chapters shared victory in the team boys competition by virtue of a tie. The Spartanburg Chapter captured the girls team competion.

Laura Crawford of Lancaster fired a second round 78 for a total of 153, four strokes better than Spartanburg's Kelly White. Luke Hopkins of Greenville won his unprecedented third title in All-Star competition. Hopkins won in play-offs in both the boys 8-9 division and the boys 10-12 division as he came through the ranks. He did not need a play-off to secure his third victory as his 145 total was two shots clear of Anderson's Anthony Richey.

In the Girls 11-13 division, Emily Rapp of Simpsonville breezed through the tournament, walking away with the 18 hole title. Rapp shot a second round even par 36 to insure her victory over the field by four shots. Matthew Price won the Boys 10-12 division with an impressive tournament total of 69. In 5 holer action, Greenville Chapter's Crawford Reeves won the Boys 8-9 division and Kara Fant of Anderson Chapter won the Girls 8-10 division.
